Stonecrest Festival

November 15, 2013 (Atlanta, GA). Monarch Investments Group, L.L.C., the Atlanta-based real estate firm, announces that it has refinanced Stonecrest Festival, its 18,000 square foot retail center in the Atlanta market. Innovative Capital Financing, L.L.C. provided financing for the transaction and Grandbridge Real Estate Capital arranged the financing and facilitated the deal. Stonecrest Festival is a shopping center anchored by Anna’s Linens, adjacent to the five-anchor Mall at Stonecrest in Atlanta’s eastern suburbs. Mall at Stonecrest includes anchors such as Macy’s, Dillard’s and JC Penney and contains over 1.16 million square feet of retail space.

Stephen M. LaMastra, Managing Member of Monarch, stated “Monarch is very proud of our ability to refinance this property just a year after acquiring it, which demonstrates the significant value we were able to add in a very short period. We were able to return all of our investors’ equity which is a hallmark of Monarch’s strategy of strong investor returns.”

Monarch and its affiliates currently own over a dozen retail centers throughout the southeastern U.S. and the company will acquire over $50 million of retail properties this year alone. Monarch also plans to acquire an additional $200 million of properties in 2014. The company currently owns and manages over 500,000 square feet of retail space.
